We Remodel Homes

J.R. Heald Builders provides thoughtfully planned home remodeling throughout the Seacoast Region. Our experienced team helps homeowners update existing spaces through coordinated design, planning, and construction.

Whether the project involves reworking several rooms, opening the layout, updating finishes, or changing how different parts of the home connect, we coordinate the details needed to create a finished result that feels cohesive with the rest of the house.

WHAT WE PLAN AROUND

Every remodeling project starts with an existing home, so the new work has to respond to what is already there. We plan around the overall design, how the spaces need to function, and the conditions of the home itself.

Design

We develop a clear direction for the remodeled spaces so the layout, style, and finish details feel connected to the rest of the home.

Function

We consider how rooms are used, how people move through them, and where changes can make everyday living more practical and comfortable.

Finishes

We account for the home’s current structure, systems, architecture, and surrounding spaces so the new work fits naturally with what remains.

OUR APPROACH

Remodeling requires new ideas to work within an existing structure. Changes to walls, layouts, plumbing, electrical systems, flooring, cabinetry, and finishes can affect one another throughout the project.

Our team works through those connections during planning so the design and construction scope are aligned before work begins. This creates a clearer project path and helps the remodeled spaces feel like a natural part of the home.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently used JR Heald Construction for a kitchen remodel. We couldn't be happier with the results! Justin and his team showed up, cleaned up, communicated very well throughout the project and most importantly - the quality of work was impeccable. High quality workmanship all around. I'm bringing them back to do my 3 bathrooms.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Heald Builders goes the extra mile. Had a leak in basement, that no one could fix. They went above and beyond to find the source and replaced an exterior French door that had been installed incorrectly 20 years prior. Transformed a dull, dated exterior deck with vertical lattice and formal stairs that changed the entire flow of our backyard. Great attention to detail. Would highly recommend.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The craftmanship and care Justin and his team provide make him a contractor you should wait for. We adore working with him because we know that our work will be made to look even better because of how diligently he pays attention to those details. Some of those details you may not have even thought of- but he does.
